KOR Running Program

Free Running Screens

One of our three running specialists will take you through a 9 point functional running screen. These movement tests will help assess the body to identify areas of strengths and weaknesses specifc to the demands of running. It includes a video analysis of running form. Return-to-run Training

We provide individualized programs for return-to-running after injury or prolonged lapse in training. We also develop specific training programs for race performance. 

Injury Prevention Program for Runners

Improve your approach to proper strength training that incorporate the needed strength that a runner needs to prevent injuries. We develop individualized strength training programs that assist in enhanced performance and decreased risk for injuries. 

Head Coach: Kathleen Hansen, RRCA Certified Running Coach

Kathleen currently enjoys multi-sport races and is a long distance runner.  Kathleen is a physical therapist at The KOR and is also an RRCA Certified Running Coach.

Coach: Kristen Kupras

Kristen enjoys trail running around forest park and participating in multiple running events throughout the pacific northwest every year. She also uses yoga as a great compliment to the sport of running and encourages her patients to as well.

Coach: Elicia Hickey

Elicia found her love for running in high school and college where she competed in cross country and track. She currently enjoys participating in longer distance races, especially half marathons. Elicia is a Physical Therapist at The KOR Beaverton and a RRCA Certified Running Coach.

Team KOR is dedicated to supporting runners of all ages and abilities to meet their individual running and fitness goals. We strive to encourage fun, fitness, and to assist in building a community of runners and walkers while simultaneously providing support in both injury prevention and recovery.
