Due to our dedication to our patients, we have developed many great relationships with local physicians who trust The KOR to help their patient's recover from injuries and meet their goals. While many of our patients come to The KOR through their physicians, patients are able to seek care from a physical therapist by means of direct access. In most states, including Oregon, a prescription from your physician is no longer required for up to 60 days of treatment which often results in treating injuries sooner and improving recovery times.
Many insurance companies will pay for direct access physical therapy treatments, although your individual insurance company may require a referral in order for your visits to be paid. Not sure? Call us and we'll check for you.
As a courtesy to you, our patient, we try to verify your physical therapy benefits. Please understand that we can only provide an estimation of benefits and is based on what the insurance company reports to us. You are ultimately responsible for knowing your own benefits.
